Ram Pothineni is set to captivate audiences in the upcoming sequel 'Double Ismart', directed by Puri Jagannath. Recently, the song "Maar Muntha Chod Chintha" featuring Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar was released, sparking controversy due to the inclusion of a popular line from Telangana’s former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, which is, "Em Cheddam Antav Mari."

BRS leader Pavani Goud has voiced her strong disapproval of using KCR’s words in a song that revolves around themes of liquor and inebriation. This particular phrase has gained immense popularity, frequently appearing in memes across social media. However, its incorporation into the song has not sat well with BRS women activists.

Pavani Goud reposted her video on X (formerly Twitter).

The activists have demanded that Puri Jagannath remove the dialogue from the song immediately. They have threatened to take severe action, including attacking Jagannath's residence and boycotting the film 'Double Ismart' in Telangana, if their demands are not met.

'Double Ismart' promises to be a high-octane sequel, with Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar leading the cast. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal negative role, alongside Bani J and Bodupalli Srinu in supporting roles.

The movie will hit the theatres on August 15.
