In what can be termed as a shocking incident, the skeletal remains of an unidentified man were found in the agriculture land belonging to Telugu film actor Akkineni

in Mahabubnagar district. The police were immediately informed after the discovery of the

skeleton

on late Wednesday night. As the

dead body

was lying in a highly decomposed state, the cops decided to conduct a spot post-mortem examination on Thursday.

The large chunk of

farmland

which is estimated to be around 40 acres was purchased by Nagarjuna some time ago and according to sources, Amala Akkineni has recently visited this agricultural field in the first week of September. On Wednesday, the family sent a team of agricultural experts to examine the farm and prepare the land for organic farming.

Farm labourers who were carrying out the needed work sensed foul-smell being emitted from a room and when the team opened it, they found the skeletal remains of a man inside. The dead body was clad in trousers and a full-sleeve shirt.

Police suspect that the death could have taken place around six months ago. According to Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar, “The identity of the person is yet to be established. A case will be booked under relevant sections of law.”
