After taking a brief break post the release of Rakshasudu,
Bellamkonda Sreenivas has recently started shooting for his next film with Kandireega fame
Santosh Srinivas. Starring
Nabha Natesh as the leading lady, the makers have roped in
Bollywood cinematographer
Dudley to handle the camera for the action entertainer. The eminent lensman is known for his incredible camera work in Hindi films like Singham, Chennai Express and Dilwale.
Meanwhile, in a surprise turnaround of events,
Dudley
has reportedly walked out of his maiden Telugu project citing creative differences as a reason. Speculations are rife that there has been major fallout between the director and cinematographer which has halted the shoot several times.
A source told a leading daily, “Dudley realised that the filmmakers and he were not on the same page. He felt that he would be in a tricky situation if he continues to work and the situation being such, he left the project a few days back.”
The unexpected proceedings have forced producer G. Subrahmanyam to look for another DOP and if the on-going reports are anything to go by, veteran cameraman Chota K. Naidu has been approached with the offer.
“Chota K Naidu had already committed for a couple of projects, so he had to adjust his dates accordingly. He said that he would initially join the team for a week to check out his compatibility with the unit members. And if all goes well, he would adjust the dates of his other projects to avoid a clash and come on board for this Bellamkonda-starrer,’’ added the source.
