Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman
passed away on Saturday after a four-year-long battle with
colon cancer
. He was 43. According to an official statement on his social media accounts, Chadwick breathed his last at his home, with his wife and family by his side.
"It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. Chadwick Boseman is an actor and producer who featured in over 15 films so far. The versatile actor was known for his amazing performances in movies like The Express: The Ernie Davis Story, The Kill Hole, 42, Draft Day, Get on Up, Gods of Egypt, Captain America: Civil War, Message from the King, Marshall, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, 21 Bridges and Da 5 Bloods.
