Bandobast
is out. The new-age action thriller is all set to hit the screens on
September 20
, 2019.
Bandobast revolves around the issues faced by farmers and those posed by river-water sharing and tensions between India and Pakistan in the context of terrorism. The Indian Army is on a secret operation to resolve these issues. Suriya will be seen playing an
SPG Commando Officer
and a farmer. Mohanlal has essayed Prime Minister Chandrakanth Varma in the film.
The film also features an ensemble cast including Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani, Mayilsamy and many others. This is the first release of the real-life couple Arya and Sayyeshaa Saigal since their marriage. Harris Jayaraj has composed music for the film. KV Anand of Rangam fame has wielded the megaphone for the venture. Subhaskaran is directing the movie under the banner of Lyca Productions. The makers earlier brought the rights of Nawab and the visual wonder 2.0.
