'Baahubali’s' Sivagami to get her own web series

Baahubali is back! Yes, you heard us right. The makers of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ franchise are planning a web series on Sivagami, a woman of substance, uprightness, wisdom and epitome of justice. The project will be made on a whopping budget of 10 crore.
Though the project is still in its initial stage but it’s definitely in the making. An official statement confirming the same is awaited.
Apparently, popular Indian American filmmaker Deva Katta known for his works in Telugu cinema will direct this web series slated to go on the floors early next year. It’s not yet confirmed if Ramya Krishnan would reprise her role in the 15-episode series. If not, we wonder who will be roped in to essay the role of Shivagami and whether she can create the same impact as Ramya Krishnan.
Earlier this year, Anand Neelakantan wrote the book ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’ inspired by the character in Rajamouli’s magnum opus capturing different shades of the warrior mother.
