Baahubali director SS Rajamouli and his family members test positive for coronavirus

On Wednesday, maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli issued a statement on his Twitter profile and confirmed that the director and his family members have tested positive for COVID-19.

On Wednesday, maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli issued a statement on his Twitter profile and confirmed that the director and his family members have tested positive for COVID-19.
Rajamouli said in a statement, ''My family members and I developed a slight fever a few days ago. It subsided by itself, but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today.

We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors.''
Rajamouli further added that they are feeling better with mild symptoms and are following all precautions and instructions suggested by the doctors.
He wrote, ''All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions...Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma..''
The news has led to an outpouring of support for the pair on social media. Among those paying their respects were actor Sai Dharam Tej and director Koratala Siva.





Rajamouli is one of the most celebrated filmmakers of India today. He made his directorial debut with the coming of age action drama Student No 1 in 2001. He has entertained the audience with some more amazing films like Simhadri, Sye, Chatrapati, Vikramarkudu, Yamadonga, Magadheera, Maryada Ramanna and Baahubali. His next movie RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead, one of the most awaited films of the following year.
