'Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion's' premier cancelled as a mark of respect to late Vinod Khanna

As a mark of respect for the veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna who died today morning, the makers of ‘Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion’ cancelled the premier which was scheduled to happen on Thursday. The actor was suffering from advanced bladder carcinoma and was hospitalized in April first week. Aged 70 he died today morning in Mumbai. He is best remembered for his films like ‘

Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion

' shared on social media, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved, the legendary Vinod Khanna. The demise has come as a huge shock to all of us. As a mark of respect for our dearly departed, the premiere event of Baahubali: The Conclusion is now canceled (sic).”

Karan Johar confirmed the news on social media saying, “As a mark of respect to our beloved Vinod Khanna the entire team of Baahubali has decided to cancel the premiere tonight...(sic).” he also added, “His screen presence is unparalleled even today...his super star swag is what we grew up on....RIP #VinodKhanna ...thoughts and prayers....(sic).”

Today morning filmmaker Karan Johar announced on social media his happiness over the film’s release with a post, “The most awaited film is releasing tomorrow!!!!! Premieres today!!! #BaahubaliTheConclusion is on its way!!!! @ssrajamouli,(sic).”
