Tollywood director P Suneel Kumar Reddy is an acclaimed writer, director, and film producer who made critically acclaimed south films such as 'Sontha Ooru', 'Gangaputrulu', 'Gulf' and 'Oka Romantic Crime Katha'. He also made films in Malayalam language 'Best Friends' (2007), 'Marubhoomigal' (2020) which is a rare feat that any Tollywood director has tried in the past. Last year he has made a film on human trafficking under the title ‘Honey Trap’(2021) and now he explores a couple of news subjects that are rare (or not seen) in Tollywood. His newly announced films deals with Transgenders ('Kaakroch') and The faulty Indian education system, that is driving youngsters to end their lives (‘Welcome to Tihar College’).
Director P. Suneel Kumar Reddy who generally makes movies on contemporary issues with social responsibility takes on corporate junior colleges and LGBTQ subjects this time. His 'Welcome to Tihar College' compares colleges to 'Tihar Jail' that discusses the student's hardships and how they were shut out from the outside world in the name of ranks and to maintain their academic records...! These students are later ending their lives failing to cope with the extreme stress (or) getting addicted to drugs and other means in the later stages.

The film is said to have been shot in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram and will have its theatrical release on October 21.
While the director’s other movie ‘Kaakroch’ is said to be made on the LGBTQ subject, which tells the story of a transgender boy (Kaakroch) who seeks solitude, inturn narrating his love story. The film is said to be made with unique content that was never touched before in Tollywood and it will be made under Sravya films by Subhash Chakravarthy Ravada and Yakkali Ravindra Babu. The film is slated to be released in Jan 2023.
