Avasarala Srinivasa Rao to direct Vaishnav Tej’s debut

is all set for his Tollywood debut in lead role with an upcoming flick. As per latest reports, actor-filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala will be helming the movie. The much expected flick is said to be a romantic entertainer. Reportedly, it will be bankrolled by Sai Korrapati, who had earlier launched Tollywood mega star, Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dev.

Srinivas Avasarala has completed the film’s script, added reports. Vaishnav played a child artists role in Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s popular comedy flick, Shankar Dada MBBS. Released in 2004, it was the Tollywood remake of blockbuster Hindi movie, Munna Bhai MBBS, starring Sanjay Dutt.

Chiranjeevi, Srikanth, Sonali Bendre, Paresh Rawal and Girish Karnad played major roles in the movie, which went on to become a blockbuster of that year.
