Autonagar Surya won't be delayed: Nagarjuna
The inordinate delay in the release of Nagarjuna's 'Damarukam', coupled with the differences between Nagarjuna and RR Movie Makers had lead to rumours that cast a dark shadow over the prospects of Naga Chaitany's next flick Autonagar Surya. RR Movie makers are producing the movie and with the news reports of them being broke doing the rounds, many speculated that they producers could well put that film in cold storage.
1x1 polls

According to sources close to the production house the bone of contention between the two parties was the losses incurred by RR Movie makers over films like Naga Chaitanya's Dhada and Bejawada and Nagarjuna starrer-Rajanna. The production house produced or distributed these films and incurred huge losses on them. So they wanted Nagarjuna to compensate them for their losses in some way, which Nag did not agree to. This was the main reason behind the delay in the release of Damarukam.
But now it seems the issue is settled amicably. Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao apparently brokered a truce between the two parties. The way is cleared for the release of Damarukam on November 23.
Nagarjuna confirmed the news to the media saying, 'Some films in which I and my family members acted in caused heavy losses to RR Movie Makers. I cleared all of the dues, and the film is going to release this Friday.' When asked that if this financial crisis would delay his son's upcoming film 'Autonagar Surya', he clarified saying, 'No there will be no delay, the film will release as soon as it is ready.' Looks like all's well, for now. Nag's fans would be happy nonetheless.
