The Telugu remake of blockbuster Malayalam movie, ‘2 Countries’ is gearing up for a release by the end of December. The latest update is that its audio launch will be held in a gala star studded event on Wednesday 6 pm at
Prasad Labs
in Hyderabad.
Comedian
Sunil plays the lead character in the Telugu version, while debutant
Manisha Raj plays the heroine in the hilarious comedy. Noted director N Shankar, who had helmed
Jai Bholo Telangana
and Sriramulayya is directing and bankrolling the much awaited movie. Leading Mollywood composer,
Gopi Sunder, who has scored music in the Malayalam version will be composing the music in the Telugu version as well.
Popular Malayalam actor
Dileep and
Mamta Mohandas played the lead pair in the original. The movie was a comic take on the life of Ullaas, who marries an alcoholic woman settled in Canada. The movie received rave reviews for the online chemistry of the lead pair.
