'Atu Amalapuram' video gets good response

After Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi's nephew Allu Sirish is all set to groove to the remixed version of the yesteryear hit number Atu Amalapuram from the movie, Khaidi No 786 starring Chiranjeevi. The makers of Allu Sirish-starrer Kotta Janta have recently released the video of 'Atu Amalapuram' remix number. Mega fans, who have been waiting to see this number on screen, are a happy lot as the video is getting good response.
While the original song had Mohan Babu and Silk Smitha shaking a leg, the remixed version is filmed on Sirish and Madhuurima. The video has already created quite a good buzz in the tinsel town.
When quizzed on why he roped in Madhurima for the rustic number despite Regina Cassandra being the leading lady, director Maruthi said, "Madhurima is not only a part of the song, but she also plays an important character in the movie. I thought she was perfect for the number." The original version of the song was shot on Silk Smitha, Mohan Babu and other actors.
