Actor Ashok Galla's 2nd film, tentatively titled, #AshokGalla2 was formally launched with a customary pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on Sunday (February 5). Ashok Galla and director Prasanth Varma have teamed up for the new venture that is touted to be a commercial action drama. It will also mark the duo's first-time collaboration.
Launched amidst a huge hype, a few pictures and videos from the launch ceremony have surfaced on Twitter. Mahesh Babu skipped the event, while his wife Namrata Shirodhkar attended the pooja on his behalf. Venkatesh Daggubati has also made his presence felt at the event. The team is in talks with some very big names in the industry. The technical team also included cinematographer Prasad Murella and editor Tammiraju. 'Dhamaka' fame Bheems Ceciroleo has been roped in to compose music for this flick.Other details of the project will be unveiled later.
For the uninitiated, Ashok Galla is the son of politician and industrialist Jayadev Galla and Mahesh Babu’s nephew. He made his debut with the 2022 film Hero. Nidhhi Agerwal essayed the leading lady. With its goofy plot, the film has gained much love and attention from the audience. Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film has music composed by Ghibran, who has weaved his magic around with his soulful tunes. The star cast also includes famous actors like Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Naresh, Brahmaji, Satya, Ravi Kishan, Mime Gopi, and Kota Srinivasa Rao in crucial roles. It was bankrolled by Amara Raja Media and Entertainment.
