Are the theatrical rights of 'Adipurush' sold for the highest ever prices for any Prabhas film in Telugu states?

Adipurush is an epic action-romance drama that is based on Valmiki’s ‘Ramayana’. The film, which has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, is gearing up to release next month on June 16 with much anticipation among cinegoers all around India and several other parts of the world.

The film is expected to do huge business in all the above areas at the box office, and the bilingual film is said to have been sold for a huge price already. As per the media reports, the theatrical rights to the film have been sold for a whopping Rs 170 crore, and the deal has been locked already. Reportedly, it is said to be the highest-ever deal for a Prabhas-starrer film after "Baahubali’ and ‘Saaho’.

The film is carrying a decent buzz and craze among the younger crowd, and it depends on how the public will receive the film. If the film gets even above-average talk, it is expected to do some exceptional business. The makers have raised the excitement with their promo material by unveiling the release posters and songs from the film.

The film recently released two of its songs, 'Jai Sri Ram' and 'Siya Ram," which have already created much hype for the film.
