Anime Awards 2026: ‘Mysaa’ star Rashmika Mandanna joins The Weeknd as presenter

Pan-India actress Rashmika Mandanna is going back to the Global Anime Awards. She will be the presenter of the 10th edition of the awards. Already being the first Indian to present at the Anime Awards in 2024, this year, she will not be alone as she will share the stage with pop icon and singer The Weeknd.The organizers took to their Instagram handle to share the list of presenters at the event. In the post, they shared a series of pictures of the presenters and the hosts for the event.Rashmika Mandanna has often shared her love for anime. She avidly shows her love to its stories and characters on her social media handles as well. Her presence also shows how the world is coming together. Cinema, music, and anime are now connected.On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is currently working on her upcoming action thriller ‘Mysaa’, where she will be seen in a fierce role with blood all over the film. She will be seen performing action as she plays a fighter.Recently, she posted a picture of her right hand on her Instagram stories, where she can be seen holding a knife. Her fingers seem to have some blood on them. Interestingly, her arm has a particular tattoo on it, which represents her clan. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Things are getting super bloody on sets of #Mysaa!!”Speaking about the film, it will be a women-led pan-India film. The story is set in tribal lands and will have strong emotions and action. International stunt expert Andy Long is working on the action scenes. The camera work is done by Shreyaas P Krishna and the music is composed by Jakes Bejoy.She will be next seen in the Bollywood movie ‘Cocktail 2’, sharing space with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Additionally, she is working with her husband Vijay Deverakonda on ‘Ranabaali’.
