Anil Ravipudi convinces Nayanthara to join 'Mega157' promotions for the first time in her career

Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to reunite with Lady Superstar Nayanthara for his upcoming film 'Mega157', directed by Anil Ravipudi. The makers, in a playful fashion, announced Nayanthara as the leading lady. Known for his knack for promoting films creatively, director Anil Ravipudi personally flew to Chennai to shoot a short video featuring Nayanthara.

Despite Nayanthara's usual low profile when it comes to promotions, as per a Telugu360 report, she was convinced by Anil's approach to actively participate in the film's promotional activities. This will be the first time in her career that she is committing to a full promotional schedule, which looks to be a pleasant surprise.

The film's shoot is scheduled to begin on May 22, 2025, with production taking place primarily in Hyderabad.

'Mega157' is slated for a grand release during the Sankranthi festival in 2026, a time known for major blockbuster launches in Telugu cinema.

Anil Ravipudi, fresh from the success of 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam', it is expected that 'Mega157' will be another success. While plot details remain under wraps, sources reveal that Nayanthara's role would be impactful and refreshing.

The on-screen chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara will be seen once again. This project marks the third collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, following their memorable performances in 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' and 'Godfather'.

Speaking of Nayanthara's announcement video, it showed Nayanthara enjoying some of Chiranjeevi’s evergreen songs and even playfully recreating one of his iconic dialogues. Chiranjeevi himself took to social media to welcome Nayanthara back, calling this film their "hattrick" collaboration and expressing his excitement for the journey ahead.
