Anchor-actor Anasuya Bharadwaj’s upcoming film 'Darja', directed by Saleem Malik, will hit the big screens on July 22. The makers of the film made the announcement about its release recently. 'Darja' has been bankrolled by producer Siva Sankar Paidipati under the banner of PSS Entertainments. The shooting has been wrapped up recently, and it is currently in the post-production phase.
Besides Anasuya, the cast also includes actors Sunil, Amani, Prudhvi, Aqsa Khan, Shammu, Arun Varma, Sirisha, Shakalaka Shankar, Mirchi Hemanth, Chatrapathi Shekar, and others. Music for the film is by Rap Rock Shakeel, and dialogues are by P Rajendrakumar, Nazir and Bhavani Prasad. Darshan is the Director of Photography for the film, while the editing has been done by MR Varma.
On the professional front, Anasuya Bharadwaj's appearance in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rise', and Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi', marked a significant hype for her roles. However, it was her role as Rangamma Atha in Ram Charan-starrer 'Rangasthalam' that had brought her much appreciation. The actress has others films such as 'Pushpa: The Rule', 'Ranga Marthanda' and a web series. She will reportedly play a prostitute in the adaptation of Telugu novelist Gurajada Appa Rao's Kanyasulakam. Anasuya will play Madhuravani, a prostitute who is the drama's protagonist. The web series will be helmed and bankrolled by director Krish Jagarlamudi.
