Actress Anandhi
, who is known for her Telugu films such as
Maruthi’s Bus Stop
and Varun Sandesh’s Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama, has reportedly signed a Telugu film. The Pariyerum Perumal star has been roped in to play the female lead in Sudheer Babu’s upcoming film titled
Sri Devi Soda Centre
directed by Karuna Kumar. In October, Sudheer Babu took to social media to announce that he will be teaming up
Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame.
According to the latest report, actress Anandhi will be seen playing the role of a village belle in the project. Her character will be a pivotal one and she will have a lot of scope to perform. Karuna Kumar recently narrated the script to her over a phone call and she was quite impressed with it. The actress gave dates for the project, which is currently in filming.
Touted to be a commercial entertainer, major portions of the film will be shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. An official announcement regarding the cast will be made soon. Mani Sharma will be composing music for the project. Shamdat Sainudeen is in charge of handling the cinematography while A Sreekar Prasad will edit the flick.
It is worth mentioning that Anandhi’s last Tamil film, Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, released in 2019. The film featured Dinesh and Anandhi in the lead role.
