It was celebration time for Nandamuri Balakrishna's fans as the leading Tollywood actor made an appearance at a theatre in Hyderabad to mark the release of his much-awaited movie, 'Veera Simha Reddy', on Thursday. Fans erupted in celebrations with slogans of 'Jai Balayya' when Balakrishna reached Bramaramba theatre in Kukatpally area to watch the movie with him.

It was early Sankranti for die-hard fans of Balayya, as the actor is popularly known. The first big release of the year was welcomed by film buffs in a grand manner.

There was festive atmosphere at theatres in both the Telugu states as the actor's fans celebrated the movie's release by reaching theatres in rallies. They were seen singing and dancing. In Telangana's Nizamabad, the actor's fans took out a huge car rally.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The movie makers promised that Balayya will be seen in a never seen befire mass and action-packed role.

Balayya is said to have played dual role in the action thriller. The big cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar from Kollywood and Duniya Vijay from Sandalwood.

The makers have huge expectations from the movie which has music by S. Thaman. The songs line Mass Mogadu and Jai Balayya and trailer of the movie with power-punch dialogues and intense action have already received huge response from the fans.

'Veera Simha Reddy' features the cinematography of Rishi Punjabi and has been edited by the National Award-winning Navin Nooli.

Trade experts hope that it will turn out to be a money churner at the box-office. They expect massive collections during Sankranti holidays.

'Veera Simha Reddy' will clash with megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya', scheduled for release on Friday.

Sankranthi festival is near, and for Telugu people Watching new films is a part of celebrating Sankranti in every town and village. This time two big star films are released in Tollywood back to back besides other language dubbing films. If Nandamuri Balakrishna is coming up action drama film, Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up action comedy film and co-incidentally both films have Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. Yes, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ was released first in Theaters on 12th Jan 2023 ahead of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’. Sankranthi is a lucky festival for Balayya and for many years his films have been doing well that were released for Sankranthi. Though there is this dubbing film ‘Tegimpu’ released today it is NBK’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ that will light the lamps and start the festival.

Yes, it's been a very long time the Telugu people have witnessed Nandamuri Balakrishna in a faction role. This film's lead character’s attire says it is a full-on action drama film with a faction background. Moreover, there are lots of chartbuster songs by S.Thaman released already into the market and there are several expectations for record-breaking dance moves from the lead cast besides his punch dialogues and one-liners from the film.

Yes, Shruti Haasan is not an ordinary dancer and so is Nandamuri Balakrishna and this was supported by Shekar's Master's choreography and Thaman’s music and Naveen Nooli’s editing. Therefore people are very excited to witness the chemistry of the above pair. Coming to Duniya Vijay is making his acting debut in Tollywood in a negative role as Veera Prathap Reddy and is a terrific performer too.

There are lots of Political obligations surrounding this movie right from its teaser announcement as NBK is also an active politician in AP. He is currently serving as an MLA from the Hindupur constituency, his look, attire and punch dialogues have triggered the political circles already and both the parties and fans would watch to know what it is all about.

As already said, Sankranthi is never complete without a Telugu person watching a new film on the festival day in the theatre. That has been the culture for ages in Tollywood and this year two big star films are releasing, therefore this Sankranthi is not going to be normal from any angle.
