And yes, there are three to four Telugu movies I am in talks for presently and might end up signing all of them by the end of this year.”
For now though, the Kung Fu Yoga actress is completely focussed on getting into the skin of her character in the upcoming romantic drama where she is paired opposite Sundeep Kishan. Talking about her role, Amyra reveals, “I play a yoga instructor. She is a free spirited girl who is not overly emotional. There’s no sexiness about her; she is sweet and loveable,” reveals Amyra adding, “It’s a ‘simple love story’ that will resonate with everybody. We’ve shot in some pristine locales in Goa and Kerala and it will be a treat to watch.”
Admittedly, she has been taking dance classes to prepare for her role. “For over a month now, I have been learning contemporary dance from a teacher in Mumbai. My director, Manjula, wanted me to learn learn the dance form as I have two to three proper solo dances in the film,” she says and adds, “When dancing for mass numbers, you can throw your hands and legs anywhere, but contemporary dance is a whole different ball game. Every move has to be pointed, graceful and must look elegant. It’s not easy trust me, but is a lot of fun nevertheless.”
