It has been a while since Piaa Bajpai's last Tamil film Ko hit the big screen. The reason is that the actress seems to be busy not just in Mollywood but has made her entry in B-Town as well. 'I have done five films in Tamil. After Ko, which gave me good reviews, I am keen that my next film in Tamil should take me to the next level. After Ko, I did get many offers in Tamil, but the reason why I haven't signed any project after Ko is because I was getting the same bubbly roles.
I didn't want to be stereotyped into doing just those roles. And certainly I didn't want to be another Saro (her character in Ko),' she says.
The actress, who has currently wrapped up Masters in Malayalam, says, 'It is my debut in Mollywood. I have been told that this film will release in January. Meanwhile, I will be signing another Malayalam project very soon.' And she is tight-lipped about her Hindi film. 'The shooting is almost over, with just a song pending. The producers are not keen on us revealing anything else about the film until the announcement is formally made. But it is with a good banner that I've worked in and I'm cast opposite a familiar face. I am keen on doing more Hindi films and Malayalam films, but when a good film from K-Town comes my way, I will consider it,' she says.
