. It seems the superstar got to watch the film recently in a special, personal screening and was highly impressed by it. He lauded the team headed by director
Sashi Kiran Tikka for the articulate handling of the subject and its execution.

26/11 Mumbai terror attacks
in 2008. The 'Major' fever hit the nation like wildfire, with audiences stepping out of theatres moved, emotional and with a deep sense of pride and respect.
Apparently, the film has earned Rs 50.7 crore within seven days of its release. The film was also written by Adivi Sesh, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Mahesh Babu. Besides Adivi Sesh in the lead role, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma, Anish Kuruvilla and Abhinav Singh Raghav. The technical crew of Major will comprise Sricharan Pakala for music composition, Vamsi Pachipulusu to handle the camera and Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan for editing.
