'Amigos' is a not an experimental film but a movie with an interesting narration - Kalyan Ram

Kalyan Ram’s ‘Amigos’ is a crime action drama featuring the lead actor in triple role, where he will be seen as the doppelganger. Interestingly, Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath will be paired with him as a lady lead. The film written and directed by debutant Rajendra Reddy will hit the big screens on Feb 10, 2023.
In this context, the film’s lead actor Kalyan Ram has interacted with the media today in Hyderabad and reportedly said that the film has finalized the above project at the same time when his ‘Bimbisara’ shoot took off and also affirmed that all the characters of 'Amigos' will be very interesting.
He reportedly revealed that he too did not know what doppelgangers mean before hearing the story and the director Rajendra Reddy’s narration impressed him to sign the project. The story where the hero of the film himself is a villain in the film, interested him a lot, he revealed. The actor also shared that Amigos is not an experimental subject like his '118' but an interesting subject with a new narration with lots of interesting elements added to it.

On asking about the Pan-India release of his films, he admited that it isn’t so easy to promote a film on a Pan-India level and he’ll be doing a sequel to his last hit 'Bimbisara' by the end of the year and he has shot 70% of his ‘Devil’ and by May the film will be done with its shooting part.
