Allu Sirish in Telugu remake of Malayalam film ‘ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi’

The 2013 Malayalam comedy film ‘ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi’ was a critical and commercial hit and beloved by families. The film won applause from critics too and has grossed more than Rs 10 crore worldwide with a budget of Rs 4.5 core.
The comic entertainer was directed by Martin Prakkat, with a star cast that included Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath, Tovino Thomas, Shivaji Guruvayoor and SP Sreekumar.It is announced that Madhura Sreedhar Reddy of Madhura Entertainment is doing a Telugu remake of the film with debutant Sanjeev Reddy set to direct.
The lead role of the upcoming remake will be played by Allu Sirish and rest of cast and crew details yet to be unveiled soon. The remake would also introduce a new leading lady. Allu Sirish was last seen in the romantic science fiction film ‘Okka Kshanam’ which was helmed by Vi Anand.
