As per Tollywood film circle reports, director Venu Sriram who directed Pawan Kalyan’s 'Vakeel Saab (2021)' and Nani's ‘MCA’ (Middle-Class Abbayi) was reported to be working with Allu Arjun, on a movie titled ‘ICON’ and the project was supposed to be produced by Dil Raju
.Now, as per the latest updates, the film is said to have been shelved.
AA is currently gearing up to shoot for the sequel of his superhit 'Pushpa' under the direction of Sukumar Bandreddy. The 'Pushpa' actor reportedly did not like the script narrated by Venu Sriram. Also, the director Venu Sriram has reportedly approached Energetic Star Ram Pothineni with the same subject, and the actor is yet to give the go-ahead nod to the director.
The other reasons for Allu Arjun rejecting the Venu projects are said to be huge line up of films he okayed already with other Tollywood directors. Such as one, he'll be collaborating with Boyapati Srinu for the second time post his ‘Pushpa-2’ shoot and he is also said to be working with Koratala Siva after his NTR project.
On the flip side, 'Pushpa 2' makers have reportedly rewroked the script of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, post the stupendous success of the first Installment and the film is said be made bigger and better with an increased budget than the first part that will hit the theaters in 2023.
