According to Hans India, the actor had requested the quashing of the charges linked to the tragic stampede at Sadhya Theatre.

Earlier, the court had indicated that a quash petition wasn't feasible at this stage and advised Allu's legal team to apply for bail instead. Although the petition has been delayed, the investigation continues, with the actor facing charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) related to the incident.

Allu was arrested earlier today (13th December) in connection with the death of a woman during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The woman's husband, Bhaskar, has filed a complaint against Allu Arjun, his security personnel, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally Police Station. The police have charged them under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the BNS.

Despite this, the Telangana High Court has granted Allu Arjun interim bail. Several prominent figures, including ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar, actors Rana Daggubati, Pawan Kalyan, and Chiranjeevi, have visited his home in Hyderabad to show their support to his family.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has grossed over Rs 1000 crores worldwide. The movie, directed by Sukumar, has outperformed box-office hits like ‘Jawan’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, ‘Stree 2’, and more.
