Allu Arjun visits Puneeth Rajkumar’s family in Bengaluru

Tollywood star Allu Arjun visited the family of late Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar at their residence in Bengaluru.

The Pushpa star was unable to meet his family when he passed away in October last year. When he was in Bengaluru to promote Pushpa: The Rise, he was supposed to visit the family. But he cancelled plans and stated that he will specifically come back to visit the family. What many don’t know is that Bunny and Puneeth’s association goes back a long time. His grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah was close to the late Kannada star’s family too.

Last year Allu Arjun had said, “I was supposed to visit Puneeth’s house but I don’t want it to seem like I’m doing it to promote Pushpa. I avoided the visit then and will come back here after the film releases. It is unfortunate whatever happened to my brother Puneeth, we all miss him.” Bunny met Puneeth’s brother Shiva Rajkumar and his wife.

took his last breath on October 29 last year when he was lifting weights at the gym. He passed away due to a cardiac arrest.

Not just Sandalwood, many Tollywood stars had mourned his passing as he was close to many Telugu stars. The actress who worked with him also remembered how humble and down-to-earth Puneeth was despite being a star.
