Ramoji Rao, the esteemed founder of Eenadu and Ramoji Film City, has passed away, leaving a profound sense of loss across the nation. Recently, acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli expressed deep admiration for Rao’s fifty years of hard work and innovation. Rajamouli suggested that the best way to honor Ramoji Rao's incredible contributions would be to confer upon him the prestigious "Bharat Ratna," India’s highest civilian award.

Joining in the tribute, iconic star Allu Arjun retweeted Rajamouli’s message, voicing his agreement. Allu Arjun shared, "I had the same feeling in my heart, sir. You spoke to my heart. Thank you for voicing it.".

Earlier, Allu Arjun had also shared his own grief over Ramoji Rao’s passing. He wrote, "Deeply saddened by the passing of #RamojiRao Garu, a pioneer and an inspiring visionary whom I deeply respect. I feel his aura every time I shoot at #RFC. His unparalleled contributions to the media, cinema, and many other industries will never be forgotten. Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May his great soul rest in peace."

On the professional front, Allu Arjun is currently working on the highly anticipated sequel, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', slated for release on August 15, 2024. This sequel, eagerly awaited by fans, continues the story of Pushpa Raj, a character that has cemented Allu Arjun’s status as a major star and also won him a National Award. Interestingly, significant portions of 'Pushpa' were shot in Ramoji Film City.
