The devastating effect of
Titli cyclone
in the
Srikakulam
district of Andhra Pradesh has changed the fate of many locals who lost their major livelihood especially agricultural lands and houses. As the coastal area is prone to contaminated groundwater, the lack of basic infrastructures like bore wells and treatment facilities to supply potable drinking water is showing quite an impact on them. While several
celebrities
from the Telugu film fraternity have
donated
lakhs of rupees to the CM’s Relief Fund, young heroes like
Nikhil
came forward and worked in the field by providing food and basic necessities to the
victims
.
After donating Rs 25 Lakh as soon as the calamity occurred,
Allu Arjun showed his kind side once again by contributing three RO (Reverse Osmosis) water plants and 1 bore well in 4 villages. This noble deed will support the daily drinking-water needs of 2000 - 3000 people in & around 2 - 3 villages. All the locals expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Stylish Star of Telugu cinema.
A few months ago, the 35-year-old actor has donated a massive sum of Rs 25 lakh to the
CM Relief Fund
following the devastating floods in
Kerala which killed over 300 people. To appreciate his noble gesture, Kerala CMO has officially invited Allu Arjun as the guest of honour to the prestigious Nehru Trophy Boat Race.
