Allu Arjun expresses heartfelt gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for THIS special reason

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2: The Rule recently hit theaters on December 5, 2024, and has already emerged as a massive success. To celebrate this achievement, the filmmakers organized a special event where Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude toward the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In his speech, the actor thanked the governments for granting the necessary Government Orders for the film's production and particularly acknowledged Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan, for his support in securing the GO. On a personal note, he fondly thanked his "Kalyan Babai" (uncle), saying, “Thank you so much.”

During the successful meet, Allu Arjun also addressed a recent tragedy at Sandhya Theaters in Telangana. A tragic incident occurred after the premiere show of 'Pushpa 2' on December 4, where a stampede led to the death of a young woman and injuries to her son. Deeply saddened by the event, Allu Arjun expressed his condolences to the victim’s family. As a gesture of support, the actor announced a Rs 25 lakh donation to the family and confirmed that the 'Pushpa 2' team would cover the medical expenses of those affected by the incident.

While the film continues to achieve remarkable success, Allu Arjun took a moment to express his heartfelt thanks to his fans for their unwavering support. Directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is the sequel to the 2021 hit 'Pushpa: The Rise'. The film chronicles the rise of Pushparaju, played by Allu Arjun, as he becomes a powerful figure in the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. Fahadh Faasil also stars in a pivotal role as one of the main antagonists.
