Allu Arjun calls Gangamma Thalli transformation one of his toughest scenes at 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' pre-release event

Allu Arjun-starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is gearing up for its release on December 5. The makers hosted a grand pre-release event in Mumbai today, where Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna delighted fans with their charming appearances.

During the event, Allu Arjun spoke about the making of 'Pushpa 2' and described his Gangamma Thalli transformation sequence as one of the most challenging he has ever performed.

In a recent video, Allu revealed that he typically avoids discussing the effort behind portraying his characters. However, the actor pointed to the LED wall displaying the Gangamma Thalli poster from 'Pushpa 2' and shared that this sequence was the toughest he had ever filmed in his career.

"By far, in the last 20 years of my career, this is the hardest sequence I have ever shot. It takes more than hard work, effort, and praise. I cannot put it into words as it goes beyond that. I don’t like to explain because I don’t want the magic to fade—I want people to experience it as the magic it is, beyond my hard work," Allu expressed at the event.

The event also saw a surprise for fans as Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna performed the song 'Sooseki' from 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' live on stage. Rashmika dazzled in a black leather designer saree, while Allu Arjun looked stylish in an all-black formal suit featuring 'Pushpa 2' branding.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is one of the most highly anticipated sequels in Tollywood, following the success of its prequel, 'Pushpa: The Rise', which became a box office sensation. Allu Arjun even won the National Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Fahadh Faasil will also reprise his role, joining Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj and Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli in this much-awaited installment.
