All four Queen remakes, including Tamannaah's 'That is Mahalakshmi' wrap up shoot!
Actress Parul Yadav, who is co-producing the remake of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’ in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam has announced the wrap of shoot.
“So happy to finish the European leg all 4 #queenremakes. The Eiffel is a perfect symbol of how impossibly difficult this project was and how grand it can be!! #moviebutterfly #zamzam #parisparis #thatismahalakshmi,” (sic) she wrote on her social media, posting pictures of her standing against the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Except for a single day of shoot inside an aircraft in Mumbai, all principal photography for the four films are complete.

Talking about producing four films simultaneously, Parul said, “I am not sure anyone really believed that this could be done, but we pulled it off!” Shot at various locations in Europe and India, the films are slated for release later this year. Prasanth Varma of ‘Awe’ fame directed the Telugu version, titled ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, starring Tamannaah in the lead role. The directed had been posting updates and behind-the-scenes pictures on his social media.
The Kannada version that sees Parul in the lead role, titled ‘Butterfly’ and the Tamil that sees Kajal Aggarwal, titled ‘Paris Paris’ are directed by Ramesh Aravind. The Malayalam version titled ‘Zam Zam’ will see Manjima Mohan in the lead and has been directed by G Neelakanta Reddy. All four versions will feature music by Amit Trivedi, who also composed music for the original ‘Queen’.
