The makers of Ala have unveiled the first teaser of the movie recently, and it is gritty and engaging. Written &directed by
Sarat Palanki, Ala is a contemporary story of friendship, camaraderie, loss, pain, heartbreak, depression and motivation.
Going by the visuals, it romances the fragile egos of today's youth and deals with the
issue of mental illness
with the utmost sensitivity. The film packed with
stellar performances
by the lead cast supported by a strong script and direction which makes it a must watch. It depicts the sorry state of our society today and highlights the insecurities we live with. Depression is on the rise today, and it is imperative to bring to life stories which can motivate those suffering from it to overcome it.

, Shilpika Malavika, Ankith Koyya, and Rohit Reddy in the lead roles. The emotional roller-coaster, which premiered on 25th June '19 is presented in Telugu by ZEE5.
