Aksha on a signing spree

Aksha Pardasany has been away from the limelight since the release of Kandireega. Post bagging the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film, the actor hasn���t had a release in over a year. ���Well, all the offers I got were very similar to the role I did in Kandireega.
I was looking to do something very different, it was around that time that I was offered Shatruvu.It is a very powerful character and was totally worth the wait. I play an independent urban woman whose life takes an unexpected turn. It is easily the most challenging character I've played,��� says Aksha who���s just completed shooting for the movie.
Srikanth is playing the lead in the action flick directed by NSR Prasad. She will soon start for another Telugu flick, Rye Rye. Sree who played the lead in Ee Rojullo is playing the lead in the movie touted to be a ���mass entertainer���. The 20-year-old is also making a special appearance in an upcoming Malyalam film, Bangles. ���I was barely out of school when I made my acting debut with a Malyalam film in 2007. I am doing a special song in the movie, and it���s not an item number mind you,��� she remarks.
