Ravoyi Chandamama tells the story of a pop singer Sashi who falls in love with an NRI Meghana during a voyage makes her fall in love with him as they both engaged elsewhere in their journey. In order to test their hearts and fate, they plan to meet at a later date to see if they really love one another. The chemistry between Nag and Anjala Zaveri also won a lot of accolades from the audiences. For those who are unversed,
Aishwarya Rai made her Tollywood debut opposite with this film, where she was seen in a special song, Naa Kosame. However, she couldn't do more films in Telugu and established herself in the Hindi film industry.
Mani Sharma had composed music for the flick. Songs like Nanda Nandana, Swapnavenuvedo and Mallepoova still remain in the playlists of the Telugu film lovers. This movie had created sensations for all the right reasons, before releasing. It had a popular star cast, had all the bling (attire, sets) and the locations are impressive. But, the movie did not do well at the box office. It could not live up to the expectations of the viewers. This movie did not capture all hearts at the silver screen and went ignored.
