Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer 'The Ghost' has been scheduled for a theatrical release on October 5. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, the movie stars Akkineni Nagarjuna in the leading role along with actress Sonal Chauhan.
According to sources close to the production, the makers decided to release the film in four languages, keeping in mind the buzz it has already generated in the neighbouring states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Besides this, Nagarjuna and Sonal have a huge following in the North. As of now, this movie will be released only in Telugu. Due to the universal appeal of the subject, the makers have a plan to release the film in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. However, an official announcement regarding the multiple releases of The Ghost is awaited.
Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas and North Star Entertainment, 'The Ghost' also stars Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, Srikanth Iyengar, Bilal Hossein, Simmi Ghoshal, Vaishnavi Ganatra and Jayaprakash in significant roles. The technical crew comprises Mukesh G handling the camera and Mark K. Robin composing music, and Bharatt-Saurabh is in charge of the background score. Dharmendra Kakarala will be editing the flick.
