5 Upcoming ‘SPY’ Thrillers in Indian Cinema in 2023
Of all the action flicks, the SPY fiction genre is one of the most popular ones due to the success of several International flicks in that Genre right including the James Bond series, Jason Bourne series, Mission Impossible, Die Hard and several others. Indian actors and filmmakers too are currently adapting too many flicks from this genre though it is not new in Indian cinema, below is the list of SPY flicks that are slated for 2023.

Nikhil Siddhartha - 'Spy'
Telugu actor Nikhil who tasted Pan-India success with 'Karthikeya 2' is now coming up with an action thriller film titled 'SPY'. The film is directed by Garry Bh that was written by Anirudh Krishna Murthy and K. Raja Shekar Reddy. The film will have Allari Naresh's brother Aryan Rajesh playing a key role and Iswarya Menon will be playing the lady lead in this.

Akhil Akkineni – 'Agent'
Akhil's spy action thriller flick 'Agent' is written by director Surender Reddy jointly with Vakkantham Vamsi and the film stars Akhil Akkineni playing the lead as Agent Johnny while Mammootty, Dino Morea and Vikramjeet play other important roles in the film that is said to be a RAW agent subject who take down a crime syndicate headed by Dino Morea.

Adivi Sesh - 'Goodachari-2' (G2)
'G2' or Goodachari 2 is an action thriller flick and a sequel to the 2018 action spy thriller flick 'Goodachari 1' by Sashi Kiran Tikka. The part 2 film is being directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi starring Adivi in the lead role that is scheduled for later this year.

JrNTR and Hrithik Roshan - 'War 2'
The 2019 Indian action thriller film 'WAR' starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles is a spy thriller film that is part of YRF Spy Universe. The film has shown Khalid Rahmani (Shroff) an Indian soldier who works for RAW is assigned to eliminate his former mentor Kabir Dhaliwal (Roshan) who has gone rogue. Now the makers are coming up with a sequel replacing Shroff with JrNTR titled 'War2'.

Prabhas - Siddharth Anand Film
For quite a long there has been this news about the Prabhas film 'Pathaan' Director Siddharth Anand and Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers will make this flick and the director who is a master in making spy thrillers is said to show Prabhas as a RAW Agent. However, the film is yet to take off as of now.
