Ajay Bhuyan to direct a Bollywood flick

When director Ajay Bhuyan���������s Naga Chaitanya starrer ���������Dhada��������� bombed at the box office, T-towners wrote him off. But, that doesn���������t seem like it stopped him in his tracks. Now, news is that he is all set to direct his maiden Bollywood flick. Confirming the news, Ajay says, ���������We���������ll start shooting in May. I am super excited. There���������s plenty of pre-production work to do.���������Talking about his untitled flick, Ajay says, ���������Vir Das, who played Anup in ���������Delhi Belly���������, is playing the lead in the flick. It���������s a whacky rom-com written by Rohit Banwilkar. We are on the look out for a female lead for the film.��������� Ajay, who moved to Mumbai soon after ���������Dhada���������, says, ���������I���������ve been in Mumbai for the last four to five months trying to get stuff going. I met a lot of producers and discussed a lot of scripts before this worked out.���������Interestingly enough the 32-old-director IIT-IIM graduate says he has no regrets about his film���������s debacle. ���������It was an incredible learning experience on why not to compromise on your vision and fight for it no matter what. Once you start listening to others and start tinkering with your concept, everything goes for a toss. But everyone who I showed the film to in Mumbai had some nice things to say about it. In fact, the film opened a lot of doors for me in Bollywood,��������� he reveals.
