Aishwaryaa R Dhanush to helm a Telugu project

R Dhanush is all set to debut in Tollywood with a unique project.

It has been announced that Aishwaryaa will direct a family entertainer that will hit screens in major Indian languages, including Telugu. The makers took to social media to announce the project, adding, “Lyca Production's Producers #Subaskaran & #MahaveerJain sign @ash_r_dhanush. To Direct a bilingual thriller, Written by #Sanjeev. This family entertainer will be Presented by Lyca Productions.(sic)”

Aishwaryaa also announced, “I’m so excited to helm this project with Lyca backing this project, our collective endeavor will be to bring a much needed, family entertainer for our pan India audiences. (sic)” The cast and crew of the project are yet to be announced for what is touted to be a high-budget film. It also remains to be seen what Telugu actors will be roped in for the exciting project.

The director, who’s Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter and Dhanush’s wife, made her directorial debut with 3 in 2012. She then directed

Vai Raja Vai

, making this exciting project her third venture.

Subas Karan

and Mahaveer Jain are bankrolling this project, further details are awaited. Shooting details are also awaited.
