Actress Aishwarya Arjun, and actor-director Thambi Ramaiah's son, Umapathy Ramaiah, have tied the knot. The couple, who have been dating for several years, got married in an intimate ceremony held in Chennai on June 10.
Earlier pictures of their haldi and mehendi ceremony pictures, now Aishwarya and Umapathy announced their marriage on Instagram, sharing joyful pictures from the wedding.
The couple marked the date "10.06.2024" in their caption of the post, adding evil eye and sparkle emojis. Aishwarya looked stunning in a traditional red and gold pattu saree, while Umapathy donned an elegant ivory dhoti set.
The wedding was filled with playful moments and heartfelt rituals. Among the shared photos were images of Umapathy tying the sacred thread around Aishwarya's neck, Aishwarya attempting to garland Umapathy, and both of them participating in the traditional game of finding a ring in a water pot.
Following their wedding, the couple is set to host a grand reception on June 14 at the Leela Palace, where they will celebrate their union with a larger gathering of family, friends, and colleagues from the film industry.
On the professional front, Aishwarya Arjun is preparing for her debut in Telugu cinema, following her last appearance in the film 'Prema Baraha.' Umapathy Ramaiah, meanwhile, is gearing up for his second venture as a director.
