Adivi Sesh who is known for making back-to-back investigative thrillers is now gearing up for his first Pan-India film ‘Major’. The film is a biographical action drama of
Major
Sandeep Unnikrishnan who save the lives of numerous hostages before being martyred by terrorists in Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai on November 26, 2008. The film which was shot in Telugu & Hindi will also be released in Malayalam as a dubbed version.
Now, the ‘Karma’ actor has reportedly signed two other Hindi films. In a recent interview with a
Bollywood
portal, the actor said that he will soon announce his Bollywood projects post the release of ‘Major’. Moreover, he will also be seen in ‘HIT – First case’, the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, starring Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra.
The 'Kiss' actor reportedly said that he is now fully focused on Major as he wants to take Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life into the public in a big way.
The film is directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka for the story written by Adivi Sesh with the dialogues penned by Abburi Ravi (Telugu) and Akshat Ajay Sharma (Hindi).
‘Major’ stars
Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi Nair and Murali Sharma play other pivotal roles in the film.
The film was shot by
Vamsi Patchipulusu
, its music was composed by Sricharan Pakala, and the film was edited by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
The film is jointly funded by Sony Pictures and G.Mahesh Babu Entertainments is slated for 11 February 2022 across all languages.
