The latest Tollywood celeb to take up the

challenge

is Adivi Sesh. After being nominated by Anasuya Bharadwaj, Adivi Sesh planted three

trees

and nominated his

Goodachari

director Sashi Kiran Tikka to take the challenge forward. Sharing a video of him planting the saplings, Adivi wrote, “I've accepted #GreenindiaChallenge from @anusuyakhasba. Planted 3 saplings. I request @sobhitaD @SashiTikka to plant 3 trees & continue the chain..special thanks to @mpsantoshtrs garu for taking this intiative.” (sic)

Adivi Sesh has been on a roll since 2018, when his spy-thriller Goodachari hit screens and carved a niche for the actor. His 2016 film Kshanam too had set the pace for the kind of films Adivi has now come to be known for. In 2019, Evaru, an adaptation of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest received rave reviews from critics and audience alike. Currently, Adivi Sesh has the script for a

sequel

of Goodachari ready but he will first wrap up shoot for the bi-lingual Major, which will see him play the role of Major

Sandeep Unnikrishnan

, a 26/11 martyr.

Adivi Sesh had to pause shoot for Sashi Kiran Tikka’s

Major

due to the coronavirus outbreak. During a LIVE session called #MySweetQuarantine with Hyderabad Times, he said, “We’ve shot a lot of scenes for Major. We were shooting some peak scenes at the border before we had to put it on hold due to the outbreak. We were going to release the first-look of the film on March 15, Major Unnikrishnan’s birthday but have put it off due to the pandemic.”
