Actress Hema Arrested in Bengaluru Rave Party Case

Telugu actress Hema has been arrested in connection with a massive rave party in Bengaluru. This comes after 86 attendees at the party tested positive for drug use. The party, which took place at a farmhouse in Electronic City on the night of May 19 and 20, was raided by the crime branch, resulting in the seizure of 17 MDMA pills and cocaine.

Reports surfaced that several individuals from Andhra Pradesh were present at the party, and among them was Hema. Despite the police confirming her presence, Hema initially denied attending the event.

The situation took a surprising twist when the police collected blood samples from Hema, which tested positive for drug use. Following this, the Bengaluru police issued a notice for her to appear for questioning. However, Hema failed to comply with the notice, leading to her detention by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police.

The raid at the farmhouse was a coordinated effort by the crime branch, which had received a tip-off about the rave party. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a large group of partygoers and seized illegal substances, including MDMA pills and cocaine.

Earlier, another Telugu actor, Aashi Roy, admitted in a video message on May 22 that she attended the event, believing it to be a birthday party and unaware of the activities taking place there.

So far, the crime branch has arrested five individuals in connection with the case, including drug peddlers and the organizer of the party. The investigation is ongoing.
