Actor Vijay Ramaraju mourns after on-set accident, film industry mourns

Renowned actor Vijay Ramaraju, celebrated for his work in Telugu and Malayalam cinema, has tragically passed away following injuries sustained during a film shoot in Hyderabad.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the actor was hospitalized after the accident last week and later transferred to Chennai for advanced treatment. Sadly, despite medical efforts, he could not recover from his injuries.

Born Raj Kumar, Vijay made a memorable debut in Telugu cinema with the iconic film 'Seetha Kalyanam' directed by the legendary Bapu. Over the years, he captivated audiences in films like 'Bhairava Dweepam', 'Ashoka Chakravarthy', 'State Rowdy', and 'Vijay'. His compelling performance as a villain in Gopichand’s 'Yagnam' earned him widespread acclaim and cemented his position in the industry.

Beyond acting, Vijay was a passionate weightlifter and bodybuilder, demonstrating his commitment to fitness. He is survived by his two daughters, Deekshita and Padmini.

The news of his untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the film fraternity and among his fans, as he was actively working on new projects. Vijay’s last rites will be held in Chennai, where family, friends, and admirers will gather to bid farewell to the beloved actor.
