was recently held and sentenced to three years in prison for cheating a nationalised bank in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

police have nabbed Basavaraju who availed the gold loan of Rs 9. 85 lakh by providing fake gold ornaments in the name of his wife
Rajya Lakshmi
and others including MSN Raju, Sanyasiraju and Sambamurthi Venkatarao.
Police said that the accused Basavaraju provided fake gold jewellery and got the loan from the bank. They have nabbed him when bank manager
Garikipati Subramanyam
lodged the complaint regarding the fake gold used to avail the loan. During the process of providing the loan when the gold jewellery was checked, they were found fake and Gopalapatnam police were informed.
