If we talk about the film’s pre-release business, Acharya has made Rs 9 crore in Karnataka. The film fetched Rs 107.50 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It did a pre-release of Rs 2.70 crores in the rest of India. It has also grossed Rs 12 crore in
pre-release business
overseas. Overall, the film has made Rs 131.20 crores in pre-release business worldwide.
'Acharya' is expected to be a box office hit. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment. The film is said to be made with a budget of Rs 140 crores.

Ram Charan’s brave efforts as his character in the film to raise his voice against violence and fight for the temple lands have impressed the audience.
