Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s ‘

Acharya

’ releases today in India however, the film had its premiere shows in the US, and a few other overseas areas already and below is what the audience had to say about the film post watching it.

The film’s first part is reported to be formulaic and the story is said to be going on at an utter slow pace. There is no major edge of the seat moments in it. The songs composed by Mani Sharma are good to the ears but the same is not the case with the background score and the elevations in the fights and hype shots. The film’s story is said to be an outdated one with very slow-paced narration.

The second half of the film runs completely on the flashback episode of Siddha (Ram Charan). This character is also said to be an overhyped one with formulaic treatment and elevations.

The Naxal/Maoist activism backdrop is reportedly not very enticing as there is not much space for Acharya (Megastar) in the second part. However this superhit song ‘Bhale Banjara’ is reported to be a treat to watch and feast on eyes especially for fans to see both dad and son dance together.

Except for the climax fight, in the rest of the movie, everything is reportedly predictable with no major twists and turns in the screenplay.

Therefore, ‘Acharya’ is said to be new wine in the old bottle with the same age-old plot. However, all the actors' performances are good but they lack the same presentation in the fictional world called ‘

Dharmasthali

’ created by

Koratala Siva

. The visual effects work in the movie is said to be pale.
