As 'Acharya' gears up for a worldwide release on April 29, take a look at why you need to watch this film

After treating the audiences with the amazing trailer and sensational songs, 'Acharya' is all set to release this Friday on April 29. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, the film is just a couple of days away from its release. Acharya will be the second big release after SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer is likely to get a decent opening on its opening day. Amidst all the anticipation and buzz, here are top 5 reasons to watch Acharya in theatres this Friday.

Apart from 'Salaar', 'Adipurush', and 'Project K', 6 upcoming pan-India movies that are expected to shatter several box office records

Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan camaraderie

'Acharya' is the first movie in which Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan will be seen together in full-fledged roles. For the unversed, Chiru and Ram Charan were seen sharing screen space with each other in SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera and Sreenu Vaitla’s Bruce Lee: The Fighter. But they were Chiru’s cameos. Both actors have massive fan bases in the South and across the country. Fans are ecstatic to see the two actors in a film together. The footfalls are sure to increase, given their fan base.

Gripping plot

'Acharya' is not the regular action drama. It is tipped to be a commercial drama with a streak of a revolutionary theme. While little is known about the film’s story, what we do know is that it is about a Naxalite of the same name. It is said to be the story of a village youth who fights against the goons who have encroached their temple’s farmlands. Although the plot of 'Acharya' is a serious one, the trailer and promos of the film showed that it will have a lot of funny moments as well.

Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde's chemistry

Ram Charan and Pooja worked together in the song "Jigel rani" from the film "Rangasthalam". The very talented duo makes a comeback on the silver screen after a long hiatus. The Jodi sets the screen sizzling with their chemistry and the promos more of their onscreen magic. It is interesting to watch Pooja Hegde (who plays the role of a belle named Neelambari) and Ram Charan in some interesting scenes.

Koratala Siva's narration

The film is directed by the talented director Koratala Siva who had earlier given movies like Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu. Those of us who followed the works of director Koratala Siva’s will know that he picks good stories but always gives it a twist. This director certainly has the potential to create a content that will make you hook to the seat. As a result, people have great expectations about 'Acharya.'

Star cast and music

The action film also features Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Saurav Lokesh, Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Sangeetha Krish and Regina Cassandra. The makers of the film have not only worked on the story line of the film but have also got the best music. Music composed by Mani Sharma, the peppy and beat songs like "Laahe Laahe", "Neelambari", "Saana Kastam" and "Bhale Bhale Banjara" are worth listening. The technical crew comprises Tirru as the cinematographer, Suresh Selvarajan as art director, and Navin Nooli as the editor.
