If the current trend is anything to go by, a slew of promising actors are now part of top filmmakers projects.
Rajamouli - Nani
Although his role was small, actor Nani made quit an impact with his role in SS Rajamoulis award-winning film, Eega. The director had earlier worked with stars like Ram Charan, Ravi Teja, Prabhas and ilk and is credited for creating monster hits at the box office. Sharing his experience on working with Rajamouli, Nani says, He (Rajamouli) is a one-man army director, technician, stunt master, choreographer all rolled in one.
Initially I was a little disappointed when I got to know that the role was small, but on hindsight, I am glad to have bagged the role in Eega. This role also opened more doors for the actor with filmmaker Krishna Vamsi casting him in the lead role for his political thriller, Paisa. Ask Krishna Vamsi why he roped in Nani and he says, I loved Nanis performance in the film Ride and wanted to work with him. His boy-next-door image ensures that he can be anybody on screen.
PuriJagannadh - Nithiin
After delivering two consecutive blockbusters, Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde, Nithiin, has now become one of the most sought-after actors in T-Town. The star will be seen playing the lead in Puri Jagannadhs forthcoming romantic entertainer, Heart Attack. Puri, who worked with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja and Pawan Kalyan among others, will be working with Nithiin for the first time. When Puri sir narrated the story to me, I was super excited and accepted the offer immediately. Its an incredible love story, beams Nithiin. Apart from directing the movie, Puri will also be producing it. Nithiin will also be working in a Gautham Menon production soon.

Ram Gopal Varma - Sarwanand
When Ram Gopal Varma announced Satya 2, the sequel to his hit film, Satya, everyone wondered who will step into the shoes of leading man. While the casting of JD Chakravarthy, Manoj Bajpayee and Urmila Matondkar went on to create cinematic history, RGV raised quite a few eyebrows when roped in actor Sharwanand as the leading man for the Telugu version of Satya 2.
Suresh Krishna - Prince
Ace director Suresh Krissna, who has been missing in action for a while, is making a comeback with an untitled Telugu venture, starring Prince. The director of blockbuster films like Basha, Indrudu Chandrudu, Master and one of Venkateshs cult hits, Prema, will now be directing the upcoming actor in his next. Ram Mohan Rao, who is the producer for the film, says that Prince was roped in for the film, since he suits the character. Apart from Prince fitting the bill perfectly, he was also extremely accessible to us.
